Trilithic's high power lowpass filters are used in a wide variety of applications, both commercial and military. Most designs are low ripple Chebyshev.
The Chebyshev design is sometimes chosen where a true lowpass response is desired. These are very low ripple designs in order to minimize VSWR and loss. The 3 dB cut-off is normally placed well above the maximum operating frequency in order to minimize losses from the passband to stopband transition.
Due to the complexity of designing high power filters, please contact our factory to discuss your specific requirements with one of our engineers.
